How to invite people to an orbit
Every orbit in Orbily has an invite code and link. Send it however your group already talks, and each person chooses how they share as they join — an invitation never shares anyone's location for them.
Join the betaStep by step
Open the invite screen
It opens by itself when you create an orbit, and from Invite on the orbit's map at any time.
Send the link
Tap Messages, WhatsApp or Email, or More for any other app. The message carries the code as well as the link, so it works on any phone.
Or show the QR code
In person, let them scan the QR code on your screen.
Or invite people you know
Pick people from your other orbits, or add an email address, and they get an invitation in the app or by email.
They choose how to take part
Opening the link shows the orbit and asks how they want to share — live, on a timer or updates only — before they join.
What if they don't have Orbily yet?
The link opens a page that explains Orbily and shows the code to copy. Once they have the app, they can open the link again or enter the code to join.
Questions people ask next
No. Invite pages are never listed by search engines. Anyone with the code can join, so share it only with the people you want in the orbit.
No. Opening an invitation shares nothing. Before you join, Orbily asks how you want to share: live, on a timer, or updates only, which shares no location.
