A city break with friends, from the first plan to the last photo
A group trip needs a plan, a way to find each other and somewhere for the photos, and none of it should outlast the trip. A temporary orbit in Orbily holds all three, and when the trip ends, sharing stops by itself.
Join the betaHow it plays out
- Two weeks before
Priya creates a temporary orbit called Lisbon, ending on Monday at 6pm, and turns on Plan the days. She drops the invite link into the friends' WhatsApp group, and the other five join.
- The night before
The flights, the apartment and Saturday's dinner are on the plan, each with its time and its place on the map.
- Friday, 2pm
Four of them share live. Tom chooses updates only, and posts that he has landed from the airport.
- Saturday, 1am
The group splits after dinner. Everyone sharing can see who is already back near the apartment, and the chat sorts out who is getting the last tram.
- Monday, 6pm
The orbit ends. Sharing stops by itself, and the plan, the chat and the photos stay there to look back on.
What helps
How do I plan a group trip in Orbily?
Create a temporary orbit, choose when it ends, and turn on Plan the days. Add stays, meals, trains and meeting points to each day, then share the invite link or code with the group.
Do my friends have to share their location?
No. Everyone chooses as they join: live, on a timer, or updates only. People who would never share with an app for good are often happy to for a weekend that ends by itself.

They stay in the orbit, which becomes read-only when it ends, so everyone can still look back on them.
